Since 1993 we have been promoting the publication of the magazine which comes out twice a year and which is received by all our members as part of their subscription.
GRETA is a twice yearly magazine which emerged from the heart of our association and is directed at all teachers of English as a foreign language. There is a print run of some one thousand copies.
One of the objectives of the magazine is to bridge the gap between the field of applied linguistics and class praxis, aiming to cover all levels of education from Primary to University. Other fundamental ends are to inform of new methodologies, both bibliographic and cultural which are related to the teaching of the English language and to exchange experiences and publications between research teams both on a national and international level. Internationally prestigious professors such as, Krashen, Cook, Alderson, Carter, Rinvolucri and Widdowson, have collaborated with different articles and interviews.
The GRETA magazine has been widely acclaimed both nationally and internationally.
Introduction of the new editors:
Dear colleagues,
As you probably know, Bryan Robinson and Adelina Sánchez Espinosa said goodbye in the last issue of GRETA Magazine after three years of impeccable editorship. Although we are well aware that they are an extremely tough act to follow, we face up to the exciting challenge of editing GRETA Magazine with great enthusiasm. So far, our task is being tremendously eased by the last editors' invaluable guidance, the editorial board's inestimable help, the contributors' continuing support, and the President's and executive committee's expert advice. We seize this opportunity to introduce ourselves and to encourage your contributions, proposals, and suggestions for the magazine.
